Thirty years of bioremediation: who is behind the product
When someone offers you a biological solution, the first reasonable question is where it comes from. Here is the answer, plainly.
The division of roles
PortCleaner designs and operates the system that reproduces and dispenses the bioremediator in the port. BioPulcher is the company that develops and supplies the biological product. They are two different things and it is worth not confusing them: our contribution is bringing that technology into a port's daily routine, continuously and sustainably.
The product's track record
The bioremediator has three decades of application in Spain, in documented pollution episodes.
To this is added the official approval from the Spanish Merchant Marine, valid until January 2027, which is what allows it to be used in Spanish waters without legal obstacles.
Public presence
The technology and the person behind it, Jordi Vila, have been the subject of reports and interviews in outlets such as El Español, RTVE and COPE. This is not a faceless catalogue product: there is an identifiable company behind it, with a registered address, certificates and trials.
